My mom is finally getting a cell phone to use this summer and after that she’s giving it to me. She’s getting the free phone which is ugly and I was wondering if I could go on ebay or something and buy a phone and put my sim card in it and it would still work the same. My mom is getting t-mobile so would it have to be a t-moblie phone in order for it to work?

I still want to keep my Razr from the FIDO contract.
I was wondering, how can i unlock my FIDO Razr, so it can accept my ROGERS sim card in the Razr??
Oh, and i dont like paying for things (damn economy) so, the cheapest way the better!

for my rogers phone i lost my sim card because i was changing phones and i left it on my desk and i came back and it wasnt there! how much is it to get a new one? will i have to make a new plan?
i have an unlocked phone and have been using at&t. i want to change to t-mobile and keep my same phone number. i also want to use my same phone but the store i went to said i have to get a phone not just a sim card.
so i was planing on getting one of the free phones and just using the sim card on my unlocked sony s500i

No vodafone hasn’t.. Only o2 and orange provide free texts per a month.
My cousin gave me his mob phone the other week and i recently got a free 02 sim card from online and well ive put it in my phone and when people try to call it just says “this call cannot be connected” but the thing is i can recieve texts off people….is this because i have not yet activated my sim card?
christmas is coming up and i wanted to get my mom a go phone so i can talk to her for free while im in college she already has a phone that she understands and i don’t want to get her a new one because she not very good a tech stuff so i was hoping maybe they just sold the sim cards does anyone know?
All my friends top up their phones with £10 a month and get free texts and im stuck on vodafone where you have to pay 10p a text and you get no free texts at all.
Can i replace the sim to get all these free texts?
I dropped my Cellphone on the floor and it broke, so i took the Sim Card out and tried to use it on my old phone. Unfortunately it keeps asking me if i want to start up the phone w/o a smart card. Turns out my Sim card isn’t working anymore cause it got scratched, but im just wondering if i can get a new one for free at an AT&T store.
