i just bought a new iphone the other day; and it was working properly, i didn’t have a SIM card yet and i didn’t get to even use it yet, all i did on it was download free apps and listen to music on it. im 14 yrs old.
and i accidentally upgraded it and when i turned it on there was a picture that has an itunes icon and it told me to “insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iphone” and all it would let me do is call emergency. but i don’t think i would be getting a SIM card anytime soon. so i was looking online what to do and people were saying i need to downgrade it but the problem is i don’t know how to..
Or is there anything elce i can to do get it back to normal ?
and if anyone knows how to downgrade it for free can you please let me know because now i feel like i just wasted alot of money. And the worst part is i didn’t even get to make a call or text anyone yet ):
PLEASE HELP ME ! ! !
i joined t mobile last month, and got a sim for mobile broadband for £30 a month, which ment a got a free laptop. I only did it becuase it was more affordable then buying a laptop all in one go.
I have never used the sim card they sent me, and yet my bill this month reads “£72″ because of a £40 “Non Voice Charge”
WHAT! someone explain
Just asking because I’m on holiday soon, and I know it sounds sad but I have to keep in contact with friends, so I got myself a free O2 SIM card and I am planning to use their Unlimited Web Bolt-On for £7.50 a month and connect to my laptop. So just wondered how many webpages I could load.
Thanks in advance, Jamie.
I recently broke my sony ericsson phone so bought a new one, except it was locked on t mobile and my old one was 02. I wanted my number and details to all be transferred to my new one. After looking it up online it seems I can swap numbers for free by getting a Port Authorisation Code from 02 and my number will be changed within 2 days or so, however if I want to use an 02 SIM card in my new phone I will have to contact T mobile and get a subsidy PIN, which might take ages and costs me £20-£30. Even then it says all my old information might not work in my newphone if it isn’t compatible. My old phone was a sony erricsson too and had much the same menus. Since my brother has a sony ericsson on 02 I put my sim in his phone to test it, and although my messages came into his inbox merging with his ones, none of my contacts appeared- which is what I need most. I do not want to pay all that money for nothing- is there a cheaper way, or should my sim work properly in a new phone which doesn’t have any info stored yet?
If I paid tounlock my phone and put my old 02 sim in it- would that change my number to my old one too? Or is it the handset that is assigned a number, not the SIM?
Head hurts…
